وفي المجموعة الرابعة خسر فريق الاتفاق السعودي أمام مضيفه سباهان أصفهان الإيراني بثلاثية نظيفة في مباراة تحصيل حاصل للاتفاق الذي ضمن التأهل لدور الـ 16 كمتصدر للمجموعة من الجولة الماضية.
ورافق فريق الاتفاق للدور الثاني من البطولة فريق بونيودكور الأوزبكي بتعادله السلبي مع ضيفه الشباب الإماراتي.
